Who Was and Is and IS to Come! BE STILL…pt 2

be still and knowDear readers: This blog-post is a little lengthy but “meaty” so please make sure you have the time to really digest it and not to simply “read through” it, as it has been posted for your benefit. I have prayed over this (I always do but to be quite honest…this one is different). We experienced such an anointing when I first released it on Tuesday at BEKA Community Fellowship Group…my prayer is for YOU to receive the SAME impartation we experienced as well. Many blessings and much love to each of you!!

WHO Was and IS and IS to COME…

Part II BE STILL!

In learning Who Was and Is and is to Come… means to “BE still and KNOW that HE is God!

Can’t leave out the “Who Was” because “HE IS”, and “HE is Coming!”

The purpose for learning of the One Who always has been always will be and IS… is to KNOW Them!

HIM our Heavenly Father ultimately..

Even Jesus and Holy Spirit point back to the Heavenly Father, Yahweh.

This week is… “BE STILL”!

Let’s look at “BE STILL” shall we?

The word in Hebrew is actually not likened to the English definition of what we perceive “being still” actually means.

What the actual Hebrew word there is “rapha” as in: be healed, thoroughly made whole! It also means, stitched, cured, mend, weakened.

WHAT? Weakened? Does the verse “let the weak say I am strong...” ring a bell? What about II Corinthians 12:3-10 where Paul was given a “thorn in the flesh” to keep him from pride (and it was not sickness or disease) and the Father told him this starting in verse 9: “but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My loving-kindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. 10 So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength].”

How would being weakened pertain to healed, made whole? Seems contradictive, it’s not. Weakened, I believe in this sense is when someone realizes their need for God’s great grace and healing and that only HE can put them back together, hence giving Him the glory due to His marvelous name… “Jehovah Rapha!” God Who Heals!

Jesus is the exact likeness of Father God right? **Hebrews 1:3, John 17:1-7, Colossians 1:15**

Yes! So much so that even His name that was chosen by our Heavenly Father means what the nature of our Heavenly Father is like! **Matthew 1:20-21**

Jesus is the Savior, meaning saves and rescues our souls from eternal damnation!

Jesus is the Deliverer, meaning every time the enemy tries to overwhelm or over take us, ensnare us or trap us JESUS can and will deliver us!

AH….Here it is …JESUS is the Healer! Jehovah Rapha! God Who Heals!

Healing in this sense in Psalms 46:10 encompasses physical, mental and emotional as well as spiritual!

Look at this, this way, the Heavenly Father did not send Jesus into the world to merely “save people from eternal damnation” NO…it didn’t and doesn’t stop there….HE sent Jesus to heal and deliver as well…

To make mankind like new, literally! There are scientific findings that have proven that something takes place in people who believe in and follow Jesus Christ and they interact relationally with Him! (prayer alters the brain function in a positive way along with many other things knowing Him and being “reborn” does once we “receive” Him into our hearts: mind, will and emotions the SOUL in other words!) And our Spirit comes to life…how do I know?

{Romans 6:4, 8:11 & Ephesians 2:5 to name a few}.

We have been literally “reborn” we just need to embrace the fullness of this! **II Corinthians 5:17 & Colossians 1:20 which includes full reconciliation as it says HE reconciled all things back TO the Heavenly Father…made new!

Recall the “fullness of Christ” verses? Or “fullness of God”?

**Ephesians 3:19, 4:13, Colossians 2:9-10**

He is not lacking in anything, JESUS never lacked in anything why on earth would He leave us hanging here on earth “lacking”? He wouldn’t because it is NOT in His nature…that nature being a PURE SUPERNATURAL LOVE!

Everything revolves around His Love…..EVERYTHING!

His goodness is out of His love, His peace or “shalom” meaning all things that are good, is out of His diving love, His joy is out of His love! HIS MERCY is out of His love and His great acts of loving kindness is out of His love, His development of humans and animals and nature all of the whole of creation was and is an act birthed out from HIS SUPERNATURAL DIVINE LOVE!

Who Was and IS!!! AND is to Come!

Backup to the whole “Be Still” meaning…

Being made thoroughly whole and complete…how does this relate to us? As it also means to cease and desist…from what?

Strife, contention, doubt, unbelief, fear….SIN!

Why is this critical? In order to be made new which is instant AND a process…one has to stop. Then go a different way, direction in action, thoughts and words….what is this called? Repentance.

Being still means to stop doing what you are doing and rest in Him in such a way that you can be healed thoroughly.

It means getting rid of unbelief and fear for starters, how do I know this?

Turn to I John 4:15-19 AMPC

15 Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God. 16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. 17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. 19 We love Him, because He first loved us.”

He has a plan, He had a plan He always has a plan!!! Sounds like the whole “same yesterday, today and forever” doesn’t it?

YES! Being still ….is the process of not just not doing something but actively being healed.

Healing is not just physical, as often physical is merely the outward expression or manifestation of what is actually on the inside. Like what is on the inside will eventually be seen on the outside, like what is in the heart eventually comes out of the mouth!

Healing must take place at the seat of where HE wants to renew us completely… it’s the whole Romans 12:1-2 thing…let’s read it again to view it in a new light:

“ I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”

He is making us new first off in verse 1 in our bodies….which means what? Being healed, but how is it done? When WE choose as an act of our wills to “present our bodies” TO Him.

When we do this, it is spiritual worship to God. Says so…so, here is where some things we read about “Who Was” and IS come into play about our loving Heavenly Father… let’s jump back to a single person in the old testament whose name literally meant “beloved” and that is the only one that the Heavenly Father said was a “man after HIS own heart”… David!

Why would little David be considered this so much so it made it into the bible that God said that?

David throughout Psalms (which tell a lot about him as does the books of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles); David constantly went to God about everything, just about every detail but when he didn’t….he got into trouble and sinned against God. BUT as quick to confess his sins and repent. He constantly gave God all the credit and so loved God he sang and danced about giving much thanks.

How would he know to do that? How would he know if it was permissible to “dance” and “sing” to God?

David was also a prophet who saw into Heaven…so he had a clue of what Heaven was like and did what he saw them doing…oh, how do I know this?

If you will take time to read and meditate upon Psalms 24-33 you can see this personal interaction between God and David.

Jump to Psalms 110:1 The Lord (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool.” How would David know this? He is king at this time and lord over Israel but not THE Lord…however HE says the Lord says to My Lord…how would he say this had he not heard and or seen this?

** See Acts 2:29-34

Matthew 22:36-45 where Jesus is talking with the Pharisees…

36 Teacher, which [e]kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light—which are heavy?] 37 And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). 38 This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. 40 These two commandments [f]sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets. 41 Now while the Pharisees were still assembled there, Jesus asked them a question, 42 Saying, What do you think of the Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, The Son of David. 43 He said to them, How is it then that David, under the influence of the [Holy] Spirit, calls Him Lord, saying,

44 The Lord said to My Lord, Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet? 45 If then David thus calls Him Lord, how is He his Son? 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day did anyone venture or dare to question Him.”

Jesus is validating WHO He “is” to them.

In Acts 7:48-49 Stephen said this about David… “48 However, the Most High does not dwell in houses and temples made with hands; as the prophet says,“49 Heaven [is] My throne, and earth the footstool for My feet. What [kind of] house can you build for Me, says the Lord, or what is the place in which I can rest?”

Stephen also emphasizes the same Psalms that points to an affirms WHO God Was and IS and Is to Come in this instant…JESUS. And it is seen and documented by David the psalmist and prophet!

SO, David throughout psalms talks about dancing and singing making music joyfully before the Lord, reminds me of little children happily dancing about to music, singing. This is what Heaven was like and IS like and WILL BE like!

Again, remind you of Someone? Heaven was like is like and will be like forever???

So the Father said BE STILL….in other words, stop doing what you are currently doing, saying and believing and turn to ME the One Who will make YOU NEW by healing you entirely!

First is the body, being presented TO God that is also representative of a decisive action…an action of the “will”.

Second is the transforming OF the mind…when the body is presented to be healed the mind is as well…the soul in other words.

How we think, what we believe, what we say and do and this also hits on the issues of “unforgiveness” that often is a barrier stronghold that restrains the blessings of God from coming to a person. Seek Holy Spirit and ask if there are any places where there is unforgiveness in your heart and choose as an act of your will TO forgive and ask the Father for forgiveness for NOT having forgiven that person or people and simply say “I choose to forgive them and release them to You Heavenly Father in Jesus name”.

Healing in the body can come from the place in our hearts being healed. One of the ways this takes place is through worship of Yah!

Sound too good to be true? It’s not! IN His presence is the fullness OF joy and His joy gives us strength. (oh my, I can think of tons of scripture that connects to this, how about you?)

What about, a merry heart does what?

Heals the bones, heals the soul….remember the part in our lesson WHO IS? Go to Proverbs….find out WHO He is…IS there as Jehovah Rapha to “heal” us thoroughly!

Proverbs 15:13,30 “13 A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken.”

30 The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others, and good news nourishes the bones.”

When we receive JESUS as our “Savior” we are sealed by Whom?

Holy Spirit…HE comes into our souls/hearts.

When He comes in HE brings with Him these things that are inside of us, because they are in Him:

22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge].” Galatians 5:22-23

To sum this up…for us to be made thoroughly complete and whole in such a way it is manifested, shown forth in other words or demonstrated on a regular basis…. what is IN us already of Holy Spirit of our Heavenly Father from our Savior, Healer and Deliverer…is made manifest as HE “heals us”!

IF we do not believe this, we are not fully receiving ALL that the Father Was, Is and Is to Come in and through US! By way of Jesus Who IS the Way, Truth and LIFE…Who sent the ONE Who IS TO us…in us to be demonstrated through our unique personality to all the earth and even to angels and demons and such…what?

Check this out!

Read Colossians 1

And Ephesians 1:9-14

“9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, 10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. 11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, 12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! 13 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. 14 That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory.”

3:4-7But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).” WHO WAS…

And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” WHO IS

He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.” WHO IS TO COME!

Our Father Who Was and IS and IS TO COME, just as JESUS IS, Was and IS to Come…and HOLY SPIRIT ALWAYS IS….

We are created IN Their Image….from the Beginning…and it is HIS desire and all-consuming LOVE that brought us forth, redeemed us, is restoring us fully by healing us thoroughly to be made whole and complete IN His love…why?

TO DEMONSTRATE!!!!

We are created in His amazing image to show His nature forth, to show JESUS to the world by living like they do in Heaven….

This is why JESUS said “seek FIRST the Kingdom of Heaven” meaning the domino of our Heavenly Father!

Because it is HIS will to see Heaven on earth!!

WHO IS!!!!
